01Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Macadamia Gold website and all purchases made through it. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02Products

We sell 100% cold-pressed macadamia oil for culinary and cosmetic use. We take care to describe our products accurately, but colours, packaging and images on the website are for illustration and may differ slightly from the product delivered.

• Our products contain tree nuts (macadamia).
• Nurture is for external use only.
• Our products are not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy.
• Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

03Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is only accepted once payment has been received and we have confirmed dispatch. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including where stock is unavailable or where a pricing error has occurred.

04Pricing and payment

• All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
• Payments are processed securely through PayFast. We do not store your card details.
• Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you complete your order.

05Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping and Exchange Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

06Returns, refunds and exchanges

Because our products are food grade and cosmetic items, returns, refunds and exchanges are only accepted on products that are unopened, sealed and in their original condition, except where an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect. 07Storage and use

Please store products as directed on the label. We are not responsible for product quality issues caused by incorrect storage or use after delivery.

08Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the Macadamia Gold name, logo, product names, photography, text and design, belongs to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.

09Use of the website

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that may damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with another person's use of it.

10Privacy

We collect and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We use your details only to process orders, provide support and, where you have agreed, to send you marketing communications. You may opt out at any time.

11Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place an order is the version that applies to your order.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
